The Linking School Project supports schools and communities to develop a positive, cohesive ethos by helping children and young people to explore identity, celebrate diversity, promote community and champion equality.
Our friends from Ben Rhydding Primary school (in Ikley) paid us a visit on Tuesday 3rd December 2019. They had an exciting journey over where they arrived on the train. Upon arrival, they used their own curiosity questions to find out about their partner. Our school councillors, across both keystages, showed them around Farnham. As you can see from the photos they had lots to discuss. They then created a poster with their partners to show the similarities and differences between themselves. After lunch, we based our afternoon on a project called Philosophy 4 Children, where children derived their own questions from a book called Huey and had a discussion on whether being different was such a bad idea.
