Mental Health and Wellbeing

Information for Parents

If you have any issues or concerns (even if they seem minute but you know as a parent that something is just not right) about your child, speak to your class teacher. Also our Mental Health Champion (Mr Asquith)  and Senior Mental Health Leader (Mrs Thewlis) can also help you to think about how to help your child, and where appropriate to offer support to you or your child or to make a more specialist referral when and if this seems appropriate. PLEASE don’t struggle on alone. Our Learning Mentor Mrs Ravat is also available if you wish to share your concerns.

Supporting your own wellbeing:

Whilst prioritising the wellbeing of their children, parents often forget to prioritise themselves. It is important that you make sure that you still look after your own physical and mental wellbeing at this time too, so we have also put together a few contacts that might be useful if you feel that you would like some further support with your mental health or wellbeing too.
