Partnership agreement:

 

Our partnership agreement expresses our belief that teachers, parents and pupils are equal partners in child’s education.

 

We Promise to:

 

  • Care for your child’s safety and happiness
  • Try to ensure that they achieve their full potential as a valued member of the community
  • Provide a balanced curriculum that aims to meet the individual requirements of your child including any special needs.
  • Promote high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility
    • Keep you informed about general matters, and about your child’s progress in particular, via their diary, letters home, reports and parents’ evenings
    • Keep you informed about work that has been planned for your child  in school
    • Be open and welcoming at all times and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the daily life of the school.

We expect you to:

 

  • See that you child attends school every day and on time, in uniform and with enough sleep the night before
  • Set aside some time for listening and talking to your child and encourage a positive attitude to school every day
  • Support your child in reading and other homework
  • Take an active interest in your child’s life at school, check their diary each week and attend parents’ evenings
  • Keep the school informed of any circumstances, concerns, or problems that may effect your child’s performance or wellbeing at school
  • Support the school behaviour policy

We expect the children to:

 

  • Be polite and helpful to others
  • Act sensibly at all times
  • Do their class work and any homework as well as they can
  • Wear their uniform and be tidy in appearance
  • Take great care of books and other school equipment
  • Look after the school and its environment
